St. John’s has a vibrant, active music program. The purpose of our music ministry is to help the congregation worship. The gifts and talents of participating members are used to praise God and to proclaim God’s Word through music.
Nearly 100 members are involved in various musical groups. They are:

Handbell Choir: Joyful Bells-- Tuesday nights at 6:45
Children’s Choir: Kids of the Kingdom—Wednesdays from 5:00-6:15
Instrumental Group: Rehearsals vary depending on when they play for services. This group typically plays 6-8 times a year during Festival Sundays.
Contemporary Worship Band: Rehearses at the home studio of Kenn Anderson, Coordinator of the Contemporary Worship.
Recorder Group: Newly formed...they will play at various times during the year and rehearse at the convenience of the player’s schedules.
Student Instrumental Group: Intermediate – Advanced students are invited to play for the Sunday School service and once in the summer. Rehearsals are worked into the schedules of the students.
