Our Curriculum

St. John’s Preschool curriculum features activities to facilitate learning and growing. Teachers introduce language, early math and literacy skills, help develop self-regulation, social and self-help skills, classroom skills, large and small muscle development, art, music, nature and science exploration. Prayers and Bible stories are part of the school day. Holidays, including religious holidays, are celebrated.


Our Classes St. John's Preschool offers classes for children ages 2 through 5 years old.



Two Year Old Class

My Introduction to Preschool

This class is for children who are 2 years old by September two mornings per week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 9-11am.

Three Year Old Class

I’m Learning and Exploring in Preschool

This class is for children who are 3 years old by September three mornings per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9-12 noon.

Four Year Old Class

I’m Getting Ready for 4K and 5K


This class meets Monday through Thursday. Monday and Thursday is 9-12 noon;

Tuesday and Wednesday is 9-1pm and includes Lunch Bunch, bring your lunch from home,

and additional theme-based activities.

Children enrolling in the 4 Year Old Class are 4 years old by September 1st, 2019 if they will be going on  to a 5K school district class after Preschool. We also welcome children who turn 4 years old in the school year as a first 4 year old experience before attending their school district 4K program.
