From our inspiring and varied worship services, our strong and vital educational programs that includes an exceptional pre-school, our faithful partnerships with churches in Tanzania, El Salvador, and right here in the urban center of Milwaukee, to our service work in our surrounding community, you will discover that St. John’s provides opportunities to help you grow in your faith. Together, we will make a difference in people’s lives, as we stay true to the mission that God in Jesus Christ has set before us.
Becoming part of a faith community can be intimidating. Please know, however, that we understand and are here to assist you in any way we can. After all, we are all called and guided by the Holy Spirit in this journey which, of course, begins with the first step!
St. John’s Welcome Statement
At St. John’s we align with Paul’s words in Romans 15:7 “Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” We welcome one another all who are seeking God’s love and grace. We welcome all because God welcomes all, regardless of race, age or culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or relationship status. We welcome all without regard to physical or mental health, socio-economic circumstances, or anything that too often divides us. Our unity is in our commitment to the ways, grace and love of Christ.
