Our Curriculum & Classes
St. John’s Preschool curriculum features activities to facilitate learning and growing. Teachers introduce language, early math and literacy skills, help develop self-regulation, social and self-help skills, classroom skills, large and small muscle development, art, music, nature and science exploration. Prayers and Bible stories are part of the school day. Holidays, including religious holidays, are celebrated.
Our Classes
St. John’s Preschool offers classes for children ages 2 through 5 years old.
Two Year Old Class
My Introduction to Preschool
This class is for children who are 2 years old by September 1.
Class meets two mornings per week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 9-11am.
Three Year Old Class
I’m Learning and Exploring in Preschool
This class is for children who are 3 years old by September 1.
It meets three mornings per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9-12 noon.
Get Kids Ready 4K Class
I’m Getting Ready for 5K
Children enrolling in the Get Kids Ready 4K Class are 4 years old by September 1.
This class meets Monday through Thursday.
- Monday is 9-12 noon;
- Tuesday and Wednesday is 9-1 pm (These longer days include Lunch Bunch—bring your lunch from home—and additional theme-based activities)
- Thursday is 9-12 noon
