Akeri and Nguruma Lutheran Parishes
St. John’s has been in partnership with Akeri Lutheran Parish since April 2008. Nguruma Parish, once a sub-church of Akeri, is now a separate partner church.
The Greater Milwaukee Synod partners with the Meru Diocese of Tanzania, which includes 22 other Milwaukee area churches who are partnering with parishes in the Meru district. Since the partnership began, we have developed many friendships, including the Pastor in Charge, church elders and church parishioners.
Los Héroes de la Fe (Heroes of the Faith)
St. John’s and Los Héroes de la Fe (Heroes of the Faith) in El Salvador have been sister churches since 1998.
