Newborn Kits

What is a Newborn Kit?

Newborn Kits are given to new moms in developing nations when they deliver their babies at a hospital. This incentive has been very successful at getting expectant moms to a hospital, so their babies can be delivered in sanitary conditions.

Our goal for 2022 is 600 Kits. Throughout the summer we will be collecting items for Newborn Kits. The greatest needs are:

Onesies (preemie, newborn, of 0-3 sizes only)
Monetary donations (to purchase cloth diapers.)

Donations may be placed in the cabinet at the end of the serving counter in the Fellowship Hall.

Assembly of the kits will be July 26, 2022 at 6:30.

UPDATE: We assembled 600 kits!
Serving the world, one baby at a time!

There are FIVE different donation lists. One is a list of general supplies that are given loose. You may donate one thing, several things, or many things. The other four lists are to fill a backpack for a student of a specific age.

Mission Trip – Prayer Partners, Gas, and Snacks

Our youth are traveling to Georgia this summer, July 23-30, on a mission trip.

Prayer Partners

Pray for them as they travel to be blessed and to be a blessing to others.

Our high school youth are so excited for their mission trip in July! There’s so many moving parts during a YouthWorks trip and there are so many prayer needs and ways you can lift up the staff, community partners and our high school youth attending. Because of this opportunity for prayer, we want to invite you to an important way that you can partner with our youth – sign up as a prayer partner!

Before we leave for our trip, you will receive a booklet similar to the devotional booklet that our youth will receive when they arrive in Georgia! What a great opportunity for you to connect deeper with the community that we will be serving! If you are interested in becoming a prayer partner, please reach out to Stephanie Broussard.

Sponsor a Gallon of Gas

July 23 we are headed on a long road trip to Savannah, GA with 12 people! Would you be able to sponsor a gallon of gas to get us there and back?  Gas donations may be cash (placed in the empty gas can) or via PayPal (Friends of Youth).

Donate Non-Perishable Food Items for our Road Trip

We have four days of travel in total on our way to and from Georgia! Would you be able to donate a non-perishable food item for us by July 20? Sign up here for needed items:

UPDATE: The trip was a success! Thank you for the support!!!!
