July Outreach Focus: School Supplies
Do you remember the thrill of a new box of crayons and new pencils? You can make that happen for a student in Milwaukee. July brings the opportunity to help students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn. Donations should be placed in the shopping cart by July 31.
There are FIVE different donation lists. One is a list of general supplies that are given loose. You may donate one thing, several things, or many things. The other four lists are to fill a backpack for a student of a specific age.

Newborn Kits
What is a Newborn Kit?
Newborn Kits are given to new moms in developing nations when they deliver their babies at a hospital. This incentive has been very successful at getting expectant moms to a hospital, so their babies can be delivered in sanitary conditions.
Our goal for 2023 is 600 Kits. Throughout the summer we will be collecting items for Newborn Kits. The greatest needs are:
– Onesies (preemie, newborn, of 0-3 sizes only)
– Receiving blankets
– Ivory bath size soap
– Twist ties
– Monetary donations (to purchase cloth diapers.)
Donations may be placed in the cabinet at the end of the serving counter in the Fellowship Hall.
Assembly of the kits will be July 25, 2023 at 6:30.
